DEATH OF MRS. HENION

Mrs. Sarah J. Henion died in Dubuque on Wednesday, November 28, at 5 o'cock p.m. Mrs. Henion was born February 8, 1823 in Pittsburg, Penn., the daughter of Col. George McHenry, who with his family, came to Dubuque in 1842 and was closely identified with the city's early history. On November 8, 1847, Sarah J. McHenry and Dr. John Briggs Henion were untied in marriage. Dr. Henion died in this city May 1, 1873. There are three surviving daughters, Mrs. F. M. Marsh of San Francisco, Mrs. George K. Thompson of New York and Mrs. John Tredway of Dubuque.

The funeral will be held Saturday, December 1, at 2 p.m., at Mrs. John Tredway's residence, 1353 Locust street. Our deeds live after us. and in the hearts of the many to whom Mrs. Henion endeared herself through a long and useful life by gentle word and kindly act, her memory will ever be tenderly cherished.
