DEATH OF OCTOGENARIAN

Mrs. Catherine Wallis Passes Away at the Home of Her Daughter

Mrs. Catherine Wallis passed away Thursday evening at 8:50 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Healy, 1479 Lincoln avenue, lacking but a few months of her 90th milestone in life.

Mrs. Wallis was born in Cornwall, England. Upon her arrival in this country she first made Mineral Point, Wisconsin her home, finally settling in Dubuque twenty-two years ago.

Mrs. Wallis leaves six children to mourn her loss, William of Pullman, Washington; John of Mineral Point; Mrs. William Buckley of Coeur de Alene, Idaho; James of Modesta, California; Mrs. Frank Healey of Dubuque and Joseph of Seattle, Washington. The remains will be shipped to Mineral Point, Wisconsin, where the interment will be held Sunday.
