Died Last Night at His House
On Delhi Street

Charles Pitschner, one of Dubuque’s pioneers passed away last night at 8:00 at the family residence, 751 Delhi Street, after an illness of three weeks duration.

Mr. Pitschner was born in Hagenan, Germany, Nov 19, 1828, immigrating to this country in 1850. after a few years residence in Cincinnati the deceased removed to this city where he has since made his home.

He had during his continued residence here made many warm friends who will deeply deplore his death and sympathize with the bereft family.

He is survived by his widow, five daughters and three sons. They are Louis, Mrs. L. Geiseman, Mrs. Emil Staehli, Adele, Mrs. Al Ruley, Peter of Chicago, Fred and Charles of this city. Three brothers also survive him, Alex of Chicago, Ernest of Denver, and William of this city.
