Coroner Bennett Will Investigate
the Death of Frank Koenig

Coroner Bennett has impaneled a jury and will investigate the death of Frank Koenig this afternoon. The body will be buried this morning. Upon searching the clothes of the dead man, a receipt for city taxes dated June 20, 1898, was found. Owing to the frightful state of decomposition of the body, it is doubtful if it will ever be known how he came to his death.

Frank Koenig Laid Away

The remains of Frank Koenig, the man who was found in such horrible condition in his cabin on Kaufman Avenue Thursday night, was buried from Coroner Bennett’s undertaking establishment yesterday afternoon. The remains were laid in the German Catholic Cemetery.
