William Klein, 63, of Specht’s Ferry Road, died at 6:30 a.m. Monday at his home after a short illness.
The body was taken to the Haudenshield Funeral Home, 2170 Central Avenue, where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. R. L. Russell officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery.

He was born March 23, 1888 in Chicago and moved to Dubuque County when he was a child. He was a farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Alvina Harvey Klein; two daughters Mrs. Aloysius Krayer, and Miss Stella Klein, of Route 1; one grandchild, four sisters, Mrs. Carl Ege, of Route 1, Mrs. Carl Bleymeyer, of Dubuque, Mrs. Carl Hahlen and Mrs. Arthur Dubler, both of Route 1; John Klein of Sumner, Ia., and Fred Klein of Gilman, Wis., and a number of nieces and nephews.
