Mrs. Elizabeth Jaeger, 77, died at 3 p.m. Tuesday at her family home in Worthington after a six month illness.

Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. Friday from the family residence to St. Paul’s Church. Burial will be in St. Paul’s cemetery.

Mrs. Jaeger, the former Elizabeth Mairose, was born April 17, 1872, in Dyersville and on Feb. 23, 1892, she was married to John S. Jaeger in Worhtington.

Surviving are three sons, Laurence and Emil, of Worthington; and Sylvarius of Dyersville: five daughters, Mrs. Ralph Engler, of Hopkinton, Mrs. Carl Gudenkauf, Mrs. Harold Kramer, and Mrs. Jack Rausch, all of Dyersville, and Miss Dora Jaeger who lives at home; 42 grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and two brothers, Joe and Tony Mairose of White Lake, S.D.

She was preceded by her husband and two sons and one daughter.
The Kramer Funeral Home of Dyersville is in charge of arrangements.
