FARLEY, Iowa - Eldon R. Nadermann, 63, of 27047 Prier Road, Farley, died at 7:55 p.m. Monday, Nov. 15, 2004, at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley, with the Rev. Dennis Cain officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, where military rites will be accorded by the Farley American Legion Post 656. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Farley, where there will be a wake service at 4:30 p.m. and an American Legion service at 7 p.m.

Mr. Nadermann farmed in the rural Farley area all of his life.

He was born on Aug. 26, 1941, in Dyersville, son of Mike and Alma (Althoff) Nadermann. He married Shirley Schmitt on Jan. 7, 1977, at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville.

He was an Army veteran.

He received his education at the former Union Country School in rural Farley. He was a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Farley.

He was an avid collector of antique tractors and farm toys. He will be sadly missed by his wife, children, family and friends.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley Nadermann, of Farley; four children, Tricia (Jeff) Kueter, of Asbury, Tammy Nadermann, of Dubuque, and Tony Nadermann and Terry Nadermann, both of Farley; his father and mother-in-law, Ray and Irene Schmitt, of Dyersville; a brother, Jerry (Janet) Nadermann, of New Vienna; a sister, Lou Ann (David) Krapfl, of New Vienna; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Nadermann, of Farley; and a brother-in-law, Leon (Shirley) Schmitt, of Farley.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, LeRoy Nadermann, on Sept. 27, 2002.

An Eldon R. Nadermann Memorial Fund has been established.
