Lawrence H. Meyer,86, of Dubuque, formerly of Farley, died Friday afternoon in Wheatland Manor Care Facility, Wheatland. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, where a Scripture wake service begins at 7.

Survivors include a daughter, Luella Hageman of Grand Mound; a son, Irvin "Hap" of Epworth; three stepdaughters, Jean Adams of Lancaster, Wis., Marilyn Sullivan of Sherill and Ruth Ann Rea of Bernard.

Also surviving are 30 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Hildegard Stelken Meyer, on Jan. 1, 1940, and his second wife, Hazel Keiler Meyer, on April 29, 1979.

A memorial fund has been established.
