FARLEY, Iowa - Lucinda M. "Cindy" Kramer, 78, of Dubuque Nursing and Rehab Center, formerly of Farley, died at 2:15 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, 1997, at the center.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Farley, where there will be a wake service at 4 p.m. and a parish rosary at 5 p.m.

She was born on April 6, 1919, in Luxemburg, daughter of Louis and Alice (Singsank) Brunsmann. She married Alvin Kramer on Nov. 12, 1940, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Luxemburg; he died Oct. 27, 1977.

She received her education in the Luxemburg area schools. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish, Farley, and its altar and rosary society. She was an avid quilter and embroiderer.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John (Lavonne) Ludwig, of Anamosa; two sons, Ralph (Darlene) Kramer, of Farley, and Roger (Lynn) Kramer, of Dubuque; 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Elmer (Alma) Brunsmann, of Manchester.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Eugene Kramer on April 27, 1981; a sister, Lois M. "Loie" Kramer on April 28, 1997; and two brothers.

A Lucinda M. Kramer Memorial Fund has been established.
