Florine F. Kirby, of Dubuque, formerly of Farley, Iowa, died at 9:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, at Stonehill Care Center, Dubuque.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley, with the Rev. John P. Ptacek officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Farley. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Saturday at Reiff Funeral Home, Farley.

Florine and her sister owned and operated "The Little Gift Shop" on Main Street in Dubuque for more than 25 years.

She was born on March 21, 1907, in Farley, daughter of James V. and Mary Ellen (Britton) Kirby.

She received her education at the former St. Joseph's School in Farley.

She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish in Farley.

Surviving are nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
