Evelyn C. Kirby, of Dubuque, died at 3:45 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2002, at Stonehill Care Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley, Iowa, with the Rev. Dennis Cain officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday at Reiff Funeral Home, Farley.

She was born in Farley, daughter of James V. and Mary Ellen (Britton) Kirby.

She and her sisters owned and operated The Little Gift Shop on Main Street in Dubuque for more than 25 years.

Surviving is a sister, Florine Kirby, of Dubuque.
