FARLEY, Iowa - Victoria P. (Heid) Greenwood, 86, of 28063 Funke Road, Farley, died at 6:50 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, 2002, at Shady Rest Care Center, Cascade.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley, with the Rev. Dennis Cain officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Farley, where there will be a parish rosary at 4:30 p.m. and a wake service at 7 p.m.

She was born on Dec. 20, 1915, in Stillwater, Okla., daughter of Phillip and Katherine (Prier) Heid.

She married Vincent Greenwood on April 27, 1937, at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville. The couple farmed in the rural Farley area.

She received her education in the Dyersville area country schools and attended St. Francis School. She was a member of St. Joseph's Parish and its Altar and Rosary Society.

Surviving are her husband, Vincent Greenwood, of Farley; two sons, Carl (Ruth) Greenwood and Vincent Greenwood Jr., both of Farley; three grandchildren, Carl Greenwood Jr., Terry Greenwood and Dawn Greenwood; and three great-grandchildren, Claudia, John and Luke Greenwood.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Raymond and Leander Heid; and a sister, Coletta Trumm.

A Victoria P. Greenwood Memorial Fund has been established.
