FARLEY, Iowa - Mary C. "Toni" Connolly, 77, of Farley, died at 11:20 p.m. Friday, Nov. 13, 1998, at Shady Rest Care Center, Cascade.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Farley, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Farley, where there will be a St. Joseph's Parish rosary at 4:30 p.m. and a wake service at 7:30 p.m.

She was born on Oct. 16, 1921, in Cascade, daughter of Dennis and Marcedes (Hardiman) Driscoll. She married Paul J. Connolly on Nov. 20, 1945, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Fillmore; he died April 27, 1968.

She received her education in the Fillmore area schools. She was a former member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas of Farley and a former Girl Scout leader for several years. She was a member of St. Joseph's parish, Farley. She was a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Surviving are three daughters, Janann (Gerald) Weber, of Dyersville, Diann (Rodney) Mozena, of Dubuque, and Mary Eileen (and Mark Smith), of Cedar Rapids; four sons, Lyle (Bonnie) Connolly, of Davenport, Steve (Vicki) Connolly, of Dubuque, Gerard (Judy) Connolly, of Farley, and Keith Connolly (and friend Kris), of Aurora, Colo.; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marian Wallace, of Bankston.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Richard Connolly, on June 12, 1996; and two sisters and two brothers.
