Stella C. Comer,70, died Sunday afternoon in St. Mary's Unit-Mercy Health Center, Dyersville, after a brief illness. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 10 p.m. today at Reiff Funeral Home, Farley, where there will be an Altar and Rosary Society rosary at 4, Farley American Legion Auxiliary service at 7:15, American Legion and Fire Department service at 7:30 and Scripture wake service at 8 p.m.

Survivors include her husband, Joseph; four daughters, Jolene Rahe of Dyersville, Donna Strief of Farley, Lori Allen of East Dubuque, Ill., and Gail Maiers of Cedar Rapids; three sons, Kenneth and Randy, both of Farley, and Jerome of Worthington; three sisters, Rachel Kelchen of Dyersville, Harriet Knepper of Cascade and Grace Hinrichs of Ryan; and a brother, William Schockemoehl of Worthington. Also surviving are 17 grandchildren.

A Stella C. Comer Memorial Fund has been established.
