Leo J. Schwendinger

Services for Leo J. Schwendinger, 82, of 1785 Chaney Road will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony's Church.

Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday at Behr funeral Home, where a parish wake service will be at 7:30 p.m.

Mr. Schwendinger, who was born in Dubuque, died at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at Manor Care Nursing Center. He worked at Morrison Brothers for 40 years, before he retired in 1968. He was a member of the International Association of Machinists Local 1238 and a member of St. Anthony's Men's Club.

Surviving are his wife, the former Loretta Meyers; two sons, Retired Lt. Col. Charles J., of Noble, Okla., and Warrant Officer Philip J., of Kirkland AFB, Albuquerque, N. M.; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Bahl of Lancaster, Wis., and Mrs. Lucille Bahl of Asbury, Iowa, and a brother Paul of Peosta, Iowa.
