Mary V. Sherlock Turnis, 91, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, 1997, in Shady Rest Care Center, Cascade, after a lengthy illness. Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday, St. Paul Catholic Church. Burial: church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at Kramer Funeral Home, Dyersville, where there will be a rosary at 4 and Scripture service at 7 p.m.

Survivors include five daughters, Norma McDonell of Monticello, Mary Jasper, Janet Digmann and Rosanne Heid, all of Hopkinton, and Ruth Turnis of Dubuque; and four sons, Richard of Worthington, Mark of Wichita, Kan., Bill of De Witt and Phillip of Manchester.
