Florence Pahl, 89, of Midland, Texas, formerly of Cedar Rapids and Worthington, died Monday in her home. Services: 3 p.m. Wednesday, St. Ann's Catholic Church, Midland. The body will be cremated. Memorial services will be at a later date in Worthington. Ellis Funeral Home, Midland, is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include a daughter, Gloria Pahl Warfield of Midland.

Also surviving are three grandchildren, a great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.

She was born Oct. 23, 1902, in Worthington, where she grew up and was educated. She married Walter R. Pahl there on Nov. 24, 1924. The family moved to Cedar Rapids, and he died in 1961. In 1962, Florence moved to Midland to be near her family.

She had been active in the Senior Center, Casa de Amigos and Visual Aids. She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Midland, and St. Paul's Catholic Church, Worthington.

The family requests memorials be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
