Deceased Name: IRIS M. KELLER

Services for Mrs. Iris M. Keller, 91, of Manor Care Health Services, formerly of 934 Edison St., will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main St., where there will be a wake service at 5 p.m.

Mrs. Keller worked with her husband as the bookkeeper for Keller Fruit Co. for many years, and was a devoted homemaker.

She was born on Aug. 27, 1905, in Dubuque, daughter of Carl and Nora (Chapman) Wilmot. She died Thursday evening, June 19, 1997, at Manor Care.

She married Oliver J. Keller on Aug. 6, 1921, in Dubuque; he died Feb. 13, 1988.

She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly. She enjoyed fishing and the Mississippi River. She was a member of Sacred Heart Parish and its altar and rosary society.

Surviving are her daughters, Mrs. Dorothy (Mickey) Marty, of Galesburg, Ill., Mrs. Dolores "Tootie" (Don) Jungblut, Mrs. Helen (Donald) Gourley, and Mrs. Ruth (Edward) Neyens, all of Dubuque, and Mrs. Olive "Buzz" (Al) Wolter, and Mrs. Doris "Cookie" (Ronald) Kuehn, both of St. Catherine, Iowa; her sons, Peter (Carol) Keller, of Avon Park, Fla., and John (Marilyn) Keller, of Massey Station, Route 3, Dubuque; 49 grandchildren, 111 great-grandchildren and 19 great-great-grandchildren; and a brother, Neal (Clara) Wilmot, of Simi Valley, Calif.

She also was preceded in death by a son, Oliver "Wimpy" Keller in December 1954.

An Iris M. Keller Memorial Fund has been established.
