Elaine F. (Gednalski) Bisping, 78, of 2205 Suzanne Drive, died Thursday, April 13, 2006, at home.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road. Burial of the cremated remains will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where there will be a wake service at 7:45 p.m.

She was born on Aug. 12, 1927, in Duluth, Minn., daughter of Francis and Dorothy (Wiggins) Graves.

She married Clarence Robert Gednalski on Oct. 9, 1947, in San Diego; he preceded her in death on Aug. 1, 1964. She later married LeRoy John Bisping on Aug. 23, 1969; he preceded her in death on June 7, 1978.

She was devoted to her children and grandchildren.

She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, reading and crossword puzzles.

Surviving are three children, Donna (David) Morris, of Asbury, Iowa, Robert (Helen) Gednalski, of Dubuque, and Linda (Charles) Fettkether, of Iowa City; seven grandchildren, Scott and Melisa Morris, of Dubuque, Jason (Ellie) Gednalski, of Burnsville, Minn., Keith (Stacy) Gednalski, of Dubuque, Matthew (Krystal) Fettkether, of Solon, Iowa, Jesse (Stephanie) Fettkether, of Lone Tree, Iowa, and Joshua Fettkether, of Solon; and eight great-grandchildren.

She also was preceded in death by a special friend, Raymond Nelson.

An Elaine Bisping Memorial Fund has been established.
