Services for Mrs. Leighton J. (June M.) Noonan, 62, of 2910 Illinois Ave. will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Church.

Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. (sentence omitted)

Mrs. Noonan lived in Dubuque all her life. She formerly was a nurse's aide at Ennoble Manor Care Center and Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit.

She was born June 10, 1926, in East Dubuque, Ill., daughter of Joseph and Alvera (Fluhr) Zillig. She died at 2 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, 1988, at The Finley Hospital.

She married Mr. Noonan June 18, 1945 in Dubuque.

Surviving besides her husband are a daughter, Mrs. Dan (Gayle) Freiburger of Dubuque, two sons, Terry J. of Streamwood, Ill., and Joseph M. of Dubuque; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Joyce) MacFarlane of Champaign, Ill.; and three brothers, Charles "Chuck" and John Zillig, both of Dubuque, and Donald Zillig of Des Moines.

A son, James, died June 3, 1978.

A Mrs. Leighton J. (June M.) Noonan Memorial Fund has been established.
