Melvin R. Salte

Services for Melvin R. Salte, 65, of Ecumenical Tower, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Behr's. Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Salte died at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph's Unit of Mercy Health Center. He was a former salesman.

Surviving are his wife, the former Leatha C. Frasher; one son, Richard; two sisters, Mrs. Rodney (Doris) Hallquist of Thief River Falls, Minn., and Mrs. Don (Olga) Shuman of Antler, N.D.; and three brothers, Orville P. and Maynard A, both of Longview, Wash., and Clifford R. of Richmond, Calif.
