JAMES J. ALLEN, 80, DIES HERE WEDNESDAY

James J. Allen, 80, died Wednesday morning at the Henningsen home, Maquoketa, where he had been an invalid for the past ten years. The body was taken to the funeral home at Cascade. Funeral arrangements were not completed at press time.

Born January 20, 1871, he was raised on the farm of his parents, Thomas and Eliza Jane Young Allen, at South Garryowen, and was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
