John F. Hannan

Services for John F. Hannan, 62, of 2101 Rhomberg Ave. will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., where the parish wake service will be said at 7 p.m.

Mr. Hannan, who was born at Rickardsville, Iowa, died at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, March 8, 1987, at home. He worked at the John Deere Dubuque Works for 36 years and was a member of the United Automobile Workers, Local 94, and the Holy Trinity Parish Holy Name Society. He was a World War II Navy veteran.

Surviving are his wife, the former Delores Brimeyer; four daughters, Mrs. Steve (Pat) Steffen and Mrs. James (Donna) McCann, both of Dubuque, Mrs. Mike (Jane) Whalen of Madelia, Minn. and Janet of Cedar Falls, Iowa; five sons, Robert M. of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Thomas J. and James W., both of Dubuque, Jerry J. of Clinton, Iowa, and John P. of Sterling, ILL.; 10 grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Leon (Kay) Link and Mrs. Melvin (Dorothy) Brecht, both of Holy Cross, Iowa, and Mrs. Delbert (Alice) Manders of Dubuque; and four brothers, Delmar "Bud," William and Eugene, all of Dubuque, and Richard of Rickardsville.

A John F. Hannan Memorial Fund has been established.
