Rickardsville, Iowa

Services for Mrs. John J. (Clara C. Wilwert) Wolf, 83, of Rickardsville will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Rickardsville.

Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Wolf was born Jan. 8, 1905, at Rickardsville, daughter of Nicholas and Theresa (Farn) Wilwert. She died at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 1988 at home.

She attended Rickardsville area schools and married Mr. Wolf Oct. 1, 1929, at Rickardsville. She was a member of St. Joseph's Church and its Rosary Society and the Rickardsville, Holy Cross and Sageville Seniors Citizens.

Surviving besides her husband are two sons, Leon of Rickardsville and Donald of Balltown; four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Mary) Brimeyer of Balltown and Mrs. Lyal (Melita) Pfeiler of Holy Cross Mrs. Dale (Alice) Cook of Bernard and Mrs. Jim (Carolyn) Pimlott of Cedar Rapids; 37 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Joe (Kristina) Kraus of Sherrill; and a brother, Matt Wilwert of Dubuque.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Marvin, Jan. 28, 1937 and Francis, Feb. 4, 1944.
