Mrs. Eleanor L. Skahill
Peosta, Iowa

Mrs. Eleanor L. Skahill, 74, of Route 2, Peosta, died at 9:35 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 3, 1987, at St. Joseph's Unit of Mercy Health Center, Dubuque.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Church, rural Peosta, with burial in the church cemetery. (sentence omitted)

Mrs. Skahill, who was born in Bankston, was a member of Holy Family Church and its Altar and Rosary Society.

Her husband, Howard L., died June 22, 1981.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Daniel (Nancy) Koopmann of Farley and Mrs. Stephen (Janice) Timmerman of Potosi, Wis.; three sons, Jimothy H. of Cedar Falls, Steven P. of Dubuque and William J. of Peosta; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild; four sisters, Mrs. Cecelia Schmitt of Holy Cross, Mrs. Agnes Kramer of Dubuque, Mrs. Donald (Mary) McCabe of East Moline, Ill., and Mrs. Virginia Kluesner of Manchester; and three brothers, Gerald Gotto of Dyersville, Louis Gotto of Epworth and Sylvester "Butch: Gotto of Bankston.
