Carolyn M. Weydert

Carolyn M. Weydert, 52, of Dubuque died Monday, Feb. 9. 1998 at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit. (Cause of death, cancer)

Services Friday at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church with burial in St. John The Baptist Cemetery, Centralia, Iowa.

She worked for the Archdiocesan Chancery Office before joining Medical Associates in 1967 where she was the lead receptionist in the pediatrics department.

She was born on Nov. 17, 1945 in Dubuque, daughter of Harold J. and Marie L. (Breitbach) Weydert.

She was born in Dubuque and graduated from Western Dubuque High School, class of 1963. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Parish.

Surviving are her father, Harold J. Weydert, of Dubuque; four brothers, Ronald (Gae) Weydert, of Kansas City, Mo., Gerry (Mary McDermott) Weydert and Roger (Mary) Weydert, both of Dubuque, and Richard (Margo) Weydert, of Peosta; two sisters, Barbara (Richard) Lambert of Helena, Mont., and Kathy (Jim) Luckritz, of Dubuque; four nieces, Lori, Amy, Emily and Katie; four nephews, Scott, Greg, Chris and Tyler; two step-nieces, Jamie and Samantha; and four step-nephews, Jay, Eric, Luke and Robert.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie, on June 28, 1993; and her sister, Ann Marie Weydert, on Dec 19, 1950.

A Carolyn M. Weydert Memorial Fund has been established.
