Oscar Tigges

Oscar Tigges, 65, 1901 Ann, died at 6:15 p.m. Saturday at Xavier Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Holy Trinity Church. The Rev. Terrence Thomas, O.S.F. will offer the Requiem High Mass. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery with Behr's Funeral Home in charge. Friends may call at the funeral home.

He was a member of the Holy Trinity Holy Name Society and a member of the Dubuque Business and Traveling Mens Assn.

He was born at Sherrill, Ia., son of the late Frank and Anna J. Klein Tigges, and had lived in Dubuque since childhood. He was a wholesaler.

Surving are his wife, Josephine, four daughters, Mrs. Catherine Young, Mrs. Charles (Elaine) Kruser, Mrs. Gilbert (Marlene) Nadermann, all of Dubuque, and Mrs. John (Joan) Klaas, Cuba City, Wis.; five sons, Arthur C., Gerald H., Oscar L. Jr., Wilfred A., and Roger H. all of Dubuque, four sisters, Mrs. Regina Hirsch, Mrs. John (Veronica) Holtzman, Mrs. Monica Luthe, all of Dubuque, and Mrs. Thomas (Angeline) Leonard, Clinton, Ia.; two brothers, Edmund and Ollie, both of Dubuque; 28 grandchildren.

The Holy Trinity Holy Name Society will recite the rosary at 7:30 P.m. Monday at Behr's. Members of the Ladies Catholic Benevolent Society will meet at 8 p.m. for the recitation of the rosary.
