Services for Irene C. Feldmann, 89, of Worthington, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Church, Worthington.

Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Reiff Funeral Home, Dyersville, where the Worthington Senior Citaizens rosary will be said at 3:30 p.m., St. Paul's Rosary Society rosary will be said at 4:30 p.m. and a wake service at 6:30 p.m.

Mrs. Feldmann was born Dec. 29, 1899, in Temple Hill, daughter of John and Gertrude (Wilgenbusch) Kelchen. She died Monday morning, Feb. 6, 1989, at Ennoble Manor Care Center, Dubuque, after a short illness.

She received her education in the Worthington area schools.

She married Charles F. Feldmann Sept. 14, 1920 in Worthington; he died Feb. 20, 1984.

She was a member of the Worthington Senior Citizens and St. Paul's Church and Rosary Society.

Surviving are eight sons, Francis and Lawrence of Hopkinton, Leo of Gallatin, Tenn., Delmar, Carl and Tom of Worthington, Leonard of Darlington, Wis. and Andrew of Farley; two daughters, Mrs. Al (Lucille) Vonderhaar of Luxemburg and Mrs. Charles (Rita) Meyer of Holy Cross; 67 grandchildren and 43 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Pete Kelchen of Manchester, Alvin Kelchen of Sherrill and Andy Kelchen of Cascade; and a sister, Sister Evangelist Kelchen OSF, of Dubuque.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Donald, Feb. 20, 1966, and Raymond, May 4, 1979 and a daughter, Marie Hall Streiff, Dec. 14, 1978.
