Services for Leo T. Moriarity, 69, of 309 Fourth Ave, SW, Cascade, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Martin's Church, Cascade.

Full Military honors will be accorded by the American Legion, Cascade Post 528, at the church cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Thursday at the Reiff Funeral Home, Cascade, where the Cascade American Legion Auxiliary rosary will be said at 4 p.m.; St. Martins Parish rosary at 4:30 p.m. and a wake service at 8 p.m.

Mr. Moriarity was a retired truck driver for Cigrand Brothers, in Cascade.

He was born Sep 16, 1919, in Farley, son of John and Philomena (Leytem) Moriarity. He died at 5.a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, 1989 at Mercy Health Center St. Joseph's Unit, Dubuque.

He attended the Farley area Schools.

He married Helen Hosch Oct. 2, 1940, in Cascade; she survives.

He was a member of American Legion, Cascade Post 528; and St. Martins Church.

He was an Army veteran of World War II.

Also surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Dick (Carolyn) Bolton of East Dubuque, Ill., Mrs. Eldon (Linda) Greenwood of rural Farley, Janis Moriarity and Mrs. Delbert (Nancy) Pfab, both of Cascade, and Mrs. John (Susan) Schneider of Dubuque; six sons, Tom of Dubuque, Bob, Leo Jr. and John, all of Cascade, Jerry of Sparta, Wis. and Steve of Houston; 29 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren two brothers, Ed of Cascade and Jim of Worthington; four sisters, Mrs. Howard (Evelyn) Knockel of Cascade, Mrs. Betty Kennicker of Dubuque, Mrs. Paul (Shirley) Oberfoell of Sherrill and Mrs. Merlin (Darlene) Schneider of Holy Cross.

He was preceded in death by twin daughters and a son, Peter, May 13, 1986.

A Leo T. Moriarity Memorial Fund has been established.
