LaVonne A. "Bonnie" Perrott, 84, of 1440 Thomas Place, died Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main St., where there will be a wake service at 4:30 p.m.

Mrs. Perrott worked on the Milwaukee Railroad in Chicago. She also worked at A.Y. McDonald Mfg. Co. and the former Mescher and Tench Grocery, both in Dubuque, prior to retiring.

She was born on Nov. 2, 1919, in North McGregor, Iowa, daughter of Walter and Ethel (Frommelt) Steil. She married Carl J. Perrott on May 15, 1946, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Dubuque; he preceded her in death on Jan. 28, 1975.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Parish.

Surviving are four daughters, Susan (Paul) Kurt, of Bellevue, Iowa, Carla (Ron) Klosterman and Nina Perrott (husband, Dennis Horch), both of Dubuque and Jolyn (Charles "C.J.") Forman, of Decorah, Iowa; a son, William (Denise) Perrott, of Waverly, Iowa; a foster daughter, Theresa (Egloff) Baravilala, of Eugene, Ore.; 13 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a brother, William Steil, of East Dubuque, Ill.; three sisters, Mary (Bernell) Busch, Joanne Schwarzoff and Patricia (Cullen) Spensley, all of Dubuque; and brothers and sisters-in-law, Fran Saunders and Geraldine Beaves, both of Dubuque, Alice (Bob) Rittenhouse, of Novato, Calif., Ed (Pat) Perrott, of Northridge, Calif., and Leo (Melissa) Perrott, of San Francisco.

She also was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Margaret "Peg" Saunders; three sisters-in-law, Helen Steil, Ruth (Perrott) Schwinn and Bea Perrott; and five brothers-in-law, Carl Schwarzoff, Tom Cullen, Ralph Perrott, Richard Beaves and Dave Schwinn.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Holy Trinity Catholic Church.

A special thanks to the third floor medical nursing staff at The Finley Hospital and Dr. S. Krish for their loving care. Also to her home caregivers, Eileen, Julia and Kristina.
