Joyce (Breitbach) Chase, 61, of Toronto, Canada, formerly of Dubuque, passed away Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at home, surrounded by her loving family, following a long, courageous fight against cancer.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Catholic Church, Toronto. The body was cremated. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at Ralph Day Funeral Home, 180 Danforth Ave., Toronto.

She was born and raised in Dubuque. She was the beloved wife of the late Colin Chase.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Deirdre (Stephen), Robert (Elena), Timothy, Mary (Tom) and Patrick (Susanne); loving grandmother of Sammy, Colin and Parker; and devoted sisters, Carol (Rudy) Kalan, Delores (David) Manderscheid and Sandy (Joe) Bushman.

Memorials may be given in Joyce's name to the Good Sheppard Refuge, St. Francis Table and the Chemo Clinic at Scarborough Centenary Hospital.
