Robert T. Lynch, 70, of 2534 Windsor Ave., died Monday morning, Dec. 8, 2003, at Sunnycrest Manor.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery, where military rites will be accorded by the American Legion, Dubuque Post 6. There will be no visitation. The Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, l640 Main St., is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Lynch was a truck driver for Noel Brothers Trucking, in Dubuque, prior to retiring.

He was born on Aug. 18, 1933, in Holy Cross, Iowa, son of Roy and Hortence (Hemmer) Lynch. He married Patsy Hines.

He graduated from Sacred Heart School in Holy Cross.

He served in the Army. He was a member of Sacred Heart Parish.

Surviving are two daughters, Tammy Lynch and Hilda (Richard) Schmitt, both of Dubuque; two sons, William (Catherina) Lynch, of Rolling Meadows, Ill., and Thomas (Tina) Lynch, of Bush Creek, Tenn.; six grandchildren, Tyler and Kayla Schmitt, Megan Hillery and Clara, Elizabeth and McKinsey Lynch; two brothers, Eldon (Glendora) Lynch, of Platteville, Wis., and Richard (Susan) Lynch, of North Prairie, Wis.; three sisters, Mrs. Eugene (Maxine) Boffeli, of Monticello, Iowa, Mrs. David (Ruth) Kruser, of Hazel Green, Wis., and Rita Bergfeld, of Bernard, Iowa; and special friends, Rick and Sharon Keller and Lindsey, Jessica and Logan, all of Durango, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Robert T. Lynch Memorial Fund has been established.
