Sister Mary Presentation Brophy, BVM, 103, of Marian Hall, 1050 Carmel Drive, died at 10:40 a.m. Friday, Dec. 5, 2003, at Marian Hall.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Marian Hall Chapel. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at the chapel, where there will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. The Egelhof, Siegert & Casper Westview Funeral Home, 2659 Kennedy Road, is in charge of arrangements.

Sister Mary Presentation was an elementary school teacher in Butte, Mont.; Rock Island, Cicero, Chicago and Berwyn, Ill; Seattle; and Clinton, Iowa City and Davenport, Iowa.

She was born on Dec. 17, 1899, in Long Grove, Iowa, daughter of Edward and Mary Frances (McDonald) Brophy.

She made her first profession of religious vows on Aug. 15, 1925, and her final profession on Aug. 15, 1931.

Surviving are nieces and nephews; and the Sisters of Charity of the Blessed Virgin Mary with whom she shared life for 80 years.

Memorials may be given to the Sisters of Charity, BVM, Retirement Fund.
