Jean A. Entringer, 76, of 94 Collins St., died Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West, Iowa. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Siegert-Casper Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave., where there will be a wake service at 7 p.m.

Mrs. Entringer worked for Mould Studio for 15 years.

She was born on June 10, 1927, in Bankston, Iowa, daughter of George and Bernadine (Smith) Christ. She married Lester Entringer on Sept. 5, 1960, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

She graduated from the former St. Joseph Academy.

She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi sorority for more than 50 years, and was president of the Theta Master chapter. She also was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church.

Family was important to her, and she enjoyed spending time with both family and friends.

Surviving are her husband, Lester Entringer, of Dubuque; four children, Julie (Fred White) O'Malley, of Dubuque, Laurie Entringer, of Chicago, Steve Entringer, of Denver; and Christopher Entringer, of Peosta, Iowa; a grandson, Ben O'Malley, of Broomfield, Colo.; a brother, Don (Darlene) Christ, of Dubuque; and a sister, Marilyn (Don) Callahan, of Overland Park, Kan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Tony.

Memorials may be given to the American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society and Hospice of Dubuque.
