Dean Alan Lemieux, 50, of 1390 Kaufmann Ave., died in the early afternoon hours Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, at home, after a battle with a long illness.

Private family services will be held. The Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Lemieux worked at Georgia Pacific, Dubuque, for 17 years. He also served in the army as a correctional specialist from 1971 to 1974.

He was born on Oct. 22, 1952.

Dean will be sadly missed by his sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews.

He leaves behind his wife, Victoria (Mulinaro) Lemieux; a son, Vincent Roy Tuzar (fiancee, Stacy Garner); a daughter, Angela Joy Mulinaro, all of Dubuque; his mother, Lorraine Lemieux, of Calumet City, Ill.; two brothers, Douglas Lemieux, of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Jim (Sheila) Lemieux, of Eugene, Ore.; a sister, Judy (Tony) Diasio, of Crystal Lake, Ill.; he was the proud pa pa of two grandchildren, Anthony Vincent Mulinaro and Alayna Cristine Tuzar.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond James Lemieux and his mother-in-law, Kay Pline.

In lieu of flowers, sympathies may be sent to the family.

The family would like to give special thanks to his niece, Karol Hayes, Dr. Steven Haas and Hospice of Dubuque.
