Mrs. Elton (Eva R.) Dugan, 95, of Ennoble Manor Care Center, formerly of 1575 Kane St., died at 2:05 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26, 2003, at the care center, of natural causes.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., where friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today, Sunday. Burial will be in Dubuque Memorial Gardens, south of Dubuque.

She was born on Dec. 7, 1907, in Nashua, Iowa, daughter of Edward and Nettie (Augustine) Pierson. She married Elton Dugan on Sept. 18, 1926, in Mason City, Iowa; he preceded her in death on March 26, 1988.

Eva attended Sunday School at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. She was a lifelong homemaker, living in Charles City, Waterloo and Dubuque.

She was a member of Grandview Methodist Church, and a past member of the Eastern Star and Rebekah Lodge.

She loved her family and all of her grandchildren.

Surviving are a son, Donald D. (Marjorie) Dugan, of Dubuque; four grandchildren; Dan Dugan, of Homestead, Fla., and DiAnn (Gary) Dieters, Becky (Dan) Boland and Tim Dugan, all of Dubuque; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Edna Dust, of Shopiere, Wis.; and a brother, Leonard Pierson, of Charles City, Iowa.

She also was preceded in death by a grandchild, Linda Doyle; a great- grandchild, Matthew Doyle; and two sisters, Ethel Cross and Ella Harris.

The family requests no flowers. Memorials may be given to Grandview Methodist Church, 3342 John Wesley Drive, Dubuque, Iowa 52002.
