Mr. Milton J. Kluck, 95, of Luther Manor Nursing Home, formerly of 5160 Saratoga Drive, died Sunday, Aug. 31, 2003, at home.

A private celebration of his life was held in Regina Caeli Chapel at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Burial was in Mount Calvary Cemetery. There was no visitation. The Dennis Kitchen Funeral Home, 3860 Asbury Road, was in charge of arrangements.

He was born on Jan. 13, 1908, in Dubuque, son of John and Mary (Aureden) Kluck. He married Esther Kisting in March 1936; she passed away in 1974.

Milton grew up in Dubuque, and graduated from the former Loras Academy before attending the University of Iowa, Iowa City.

Mr. Kluck worked for Stanley Engineering and was involved in the engineering of the Lock and Dam in Dubuque. In 1940, he founded the Tri-State Blue Print Co. and operated it until his retirement in 1973.

Surviving are three daughters, Diane M. (Thomas) Haye, of Janesville, Wis., Janet M. Stein, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Marilyn E. (Jim) Udell, of Tampa, Fla.; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

He also was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and a sister.

Memorials may be given to Hospice of Dubuque.
