Donald R. Vanderah, 74, of Carson City, Nev., formerly of Dubuque, died Tuesday, July 1, 2003, in Carson City.

He was born on Nov. 21, 1928, in Dubuque, son of Arthur and Alice (Maro) Vanderah.

He retired from the Army, having served in both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War.

Surviving is his brother, David A. Vanderah, of Vallejo, Calif.

Memorials may be given to the Dubuque Boys and Girls Club.
