Deceased Name: SHERRY LYNN MARIE BRIMEYER
Sherry Lynn Marie Brimeyer, 48, of Zion, died on Tuesday, July 8, 1997 at home.

Sherry Lynn was born June 20, 1949 in Dubuque, Iowa and came to this area in 1985, moving to Zion in 1991. She graduated from Senior High School in Dubuque in 1967 and on April 11, 1970 she married Daniel at St. Mary's Church in Dubuque.

She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of V.F.W. Post 7448 in Winthrop Harbor and served as a committee member of the Potowatomi Trails Friendship Pow Wow.

Survivors include her husband, Daniel; children Brian Lee Brimeyer, currently serving in the U. S. Navy, Christina Marie Brimeyer of Kenosha and Colleen Ann Brimeyer of Zion; two grandchildren, Shelby Gladys Renea Brimeyer and Tyler Warren Cheeks, both of Kenosha; her father Norbert Koppes of Dubuque, Iowa; and brothers and sisters Dianna Morrow of Dubuque, Billie Meyers of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, David (Gayle) Koppes of Loveland, Colorado, Dennis (Carol) Koppes of Dubuque, Iowa, Chief Wayne (Carla) Koppes, USN, Penobscot, Maine, and Debbie (Time) Peterson of Moscow Hills, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by one infant son, Edward Nicholas Brimeyer, II, and her mother, Eloise (nee Klinkenbvurger) Koppes.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 14, 1997 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Dubuque, Iowa. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 until 9:00 P.M. at CONGDON FUNERAL HOME, 3012 Sheridan Road, Zion and again on Sunday evening at the Behrs Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street, Dubuque, Iowa. In lieu of flowers, a Sherry Lynn Brimeyer memorial fund has been established.
