Hanna Marie Thomas, newborn daughter of Carissa M. Thomas, of 2710 Elm St., died at 9:07 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2003, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Mount Olivet Cemetery Chapel, Key West, Iowa, with Pastor Larry Stark from Bible Baptist Church officiating. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. The Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., is in charge of arrangements.

She was born at 7:51 p.m. and her twin sister, Madalynn, was born at 7:50 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2003, in Iowa City.

Surviving are her mother, Carissa M. Thomas; her twin sister, Madalynn Mary Jean Thomas; a brother, Austin J. Thomas, at home; grandparents, Jeff and Cindy Thomas, of Dubuque; great-grandparents, Art and Mary Johnson, of Dubuque; and two uncles.

A Hanna Marie Thomas Memorial Fund has been established.
