Mrs. Joseph (Frances A.) Bell, 85, of 2407 Queen St., died at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2003, at home.
Graveside services and burial will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Calvary Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. The Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Bell worked at the former Battery Factory and bartended for many years at the Wagon Wheel at Second and Main Streets, both in Dubuque.
She was born on May 17, 1918, in Farley, Iowa, daughter of John J. and Mary H. Flahiff. She married Joseph Bell on Aug. 7, 1969, in Bellevue, Iowa.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, a daughter in infancy, and Wanda Cornwell; and her first husband, Carl Cornwell.
