CASCADE, Iowa - James C. Wolfe, 43, of 797 Whitewater Drive, Cascade, died Wednesday, May 14, 2003, at home.

Private services will be held at Reiff Funeral Home, Cascade, with Monsignor Albert Manternach, officiating. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery, Worthington.

He was born on June 9, 1959, in Dubuque, son of Cyril and Marilyn (Nordhues) Wolfe.

He was a 1977 graduate of Western Dubuque High School. Jim worked on the family farm. He enjoyed collecting and fixing old radios, coin collecting, going to garage sales, his dog, Jack, and his many cats.

James also loved photography. He enjoyed photographing nature scenes and his family and friends. He especially enjoyed his nieces and nephews.

Surviving are his parents, Cyril and Marilyn Wolfe, of Cascade; two brothers and six sisters, Charles (Anna) Wolfe of Denison, Texas, Jill S. Wolfe (and friend, Jeff Peterson), of Littleton, Colo., Diane (Bob) Harris, of Dubuque, Jay Wolfe, of Cascade, Janell (Will) Klostermann, of Bernard, Colleen (Tim) Crew, of West Branch, Joan (Duane) Feltes, of Delhi, Gina (Randy) Gadient, of Cascade, and nieces and nephews.
