Harvey Windsor Howard, 93, of 1605 Jackson St., died at 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2003, at The Finley Hospital, Dubuque.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Friday. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Key West.

Mr. Howard worked in 36 states doing power line construction. He later worked on engines and lawn mowers for many years at a shop in his home. He also was actively involved at the Washington Street Tool Library.

He was born on Aug. 15, 1910, in Salamanka, N.Y., son of Manley and Ruby (Windsor) Howard.

Surviving are a son, Harry C. Howard, of New York; a stepson, Rick Frazier, of Bernard, Iowa; and a special friend, Jack Freiburger, of Dubuque.

He was preceded in death by a special friend, Evelyn Freiburger.
