William J. "Bill" Young, 74, of Bossier City, La., formerly of Dubuque, died Monday, May 12, 2003, at Willis-Knighton Medical Center, Shreveport, La., after a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Hill Crest Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Hill Crest Memorial Park, both in Haughton.

Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Hill Crest Funeral Home, Haughton.
