Deborah S. Duve, 47, of 330 Edith St., died at 11:50 p.m. Sunday, July 15, 2007, at home, following a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Immanuel Congregational United Church of Christ, where friends may call after 9 a.m. Wednesday. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. The Leonard Funeral Home & Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Road, is in charge of arrangements.

She was born on Oct. 28, 1959, in Dubuque, daughter of Gerald and Donna (Eppler) Muntz. She married Paul Duve on May 4, 1992, in Dubuque.

Deborah was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She also worked for Golden Corral and Fenelon's Restaurant.

Surviving are her husband, Paul, of Dubuque; her children, Kelly (Travis) Kieler, of Dickeyville, Wis., and Chad (Jessica Fitzibbons) and Brandon, both of Dubuque; four grandchildren, Dylan, Peyton, Kaitlin, Aaliyah, and a grandson on the way; her mother Donna Muntz, of Dubuque; her mother and father-in-law, David and Donna Duve, of Dubuque; a sister, Tootie (Rob) Hoffmann, of Dubuque; and two brothers, David (Dina) Muntz and Buzzy (Cheryl) Muntz, both of Dubuque. She was preceded in death by her father, Gerald.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Mark Hermann and staff, Dr. James Baer, Dr. Martin Bagby and Hospice of Dubuque, for all their care and kindness they gave to Deborah.
