Death of Mrs. Mueller

Mother Frank Mueller of Le mars.

Dubuque Democrat.

Mrs. A. Mueller, died at the residence of her son-in-law, Mr. M. Hollenfelz, No. 1008 Jackson street, yesterday at 11:30 a .m . She was in her 77th year, and the cause of her death was a cold, which acts very severely on persons of of a ripe old age. When standing on the brink of the grave, it needs but a slight jostle for one to fall within.

She was born in Ouren, Prussia, in 1806 She came to this country in 1806 and with her husband went to Elkader, where she resided until 1870, when they came to Dubuque, and has been living since that time with her daughter.

She leaves five children to mourn her loss. Mr. Geo. Mueller who lives near Elkader, and is a prosperous farmer; Mr. Frank Mueller a merchant in Le Mars; Mrs. Hollenfelz, the wife of Mr. V. Hollenfelz. liquor dealer and saloonist on Sixth Street, between Main and Locust; and Mrs. Engel, is the wife of Mr. N. Engel, baggage-master at the C. M & St P. passenger depot.

Her husband is almost heartbroken with grief at the loss of one who has been his partner in the joys and sorrows of life's bug journey. Her sons have been appraised of her death by telegraph.
