Arnold F. Curler

Services for Arnold F. Curler, 65, of 1600 Butterfield Drive will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mueller Memorial Chapel at Linwood Cemetery.

Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Friday at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St., and after 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Mueller Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Curler was an independent mover before his retirement.

He was born on March 29, 1927, in Dubuque, son of Frederick and Margaret (Coonfare) Curler. He died Monday, May 11, 1992, at home.

Surviving besides his wife, Barbara J. of Dubuque are five daughters, Mrs. Bill (Christine) Raeder and Mrs. Brian (Sherry) Williams, both of Dubuque, Mrs. Bob (Karen) Williams of Freeport, Ill., Mrs. Carl (Vickie) Vosberg of Marietta, Ga., and Mrs. Ron (Diana) Bryson of East Dubuque, Illinois; five sons, Anthony "Tony" Buechele, John M. Curler, Michael J. Curler, and Daniel P. Curler, all of Dubuque, and Arnold A. Curler, Jr. of Freeport, Illinois; 13 grandchildren; his stepmother, Viola Wright of East Dubuque; four sisters, Patricia "Pat" Crossett of Maple View, N. Y., Arlene Grimstad of Moline, Illinois, Mrs. George (Mildred) Freed of Phoenix, Ariz., and Mrs. Scott (Caroline) Johnson of Waterloo, Iowa; and 10 brothers, Glenn (Karen) Curler of Moline, Illinois, Ralph E (Nancy) Curler, Donald (Karen) Curler, Fred R. Curler, Richard (Mary) Fondell, Robert (Ruth) Fondell, and Francis W. (Mary) Elliott, all of Dubuque, William E. (Belinda) Curler of Nevada, Iowa, and William "Bill" Elliott of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lynn Marie Loso in 1972, and a son, Frank Buechele on July 4, 1977.
