Bob Hvidston

Services for Bob Hvidston, 72, of 264 Alpine St. will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main St.

Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today and after noon Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Hvidston worked in the lumber industry. He was vice president and general manager of Eclipse Lumber Company, Clinton, Iowa.

He was born on March 2, 1919, in Crookston, Minn., son of Colburn and Bertha (Landby) Hvidston. He died at 6:40 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 1991, at The Finley Hospital.

He married Ada M. Condiff on Jan. 16, 1940, in Park Rapids, Minn.; she survives.

He was a member of Hope Evangelical Free Church, Dubuque.

Also surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Daniel (Bobbe J.) Ames of Galena Territory, Galena, IL.; a son, David D. of Las Vegas, Nev.; five grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Reginald (Carol) Witmer of Fresno, Calif.; and two brothers, Dean of Indianapolis and Paul of Glendora, Calif.

He was preceded in death by a son, Charles L. on Aug. 3, 1988.
