Harriet L. Bush

Services for Harriet L. Bush, 78, 1735 White St., will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today at Hoffmann-Schneider Funeral Home, 1640 Main St., where there will be a wake service at 7:30 p.m.

Mrs. Bush owned and operated Harriet's Tap and Grill for many years.

She was born on Sept. 13, 1914, in Dubuque, daughter of Fred and Viola (Neubauer) Hense. She died at 12:25 a.m. Monday, Feb. 8, 1993, at home.

She married Joseph Bush on July 12, 1941; he died on Oct. 14, 1972.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church.

Surviving are a son, Harley L. (Diane) Bush, of Dubuque; a step-daughter, Rhonda Bush, of Muscatine, Iowa; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Louis and John Mihalakis, both of Mud Lake, Iowa; and three sisters, Irene Waltz, Kay Jorgenson and Laurie Weidenbacher, all of Dubuque.
