Patricia Ann Williams, 57, of 27531/2 Central Ave., died at 9:15 a.m. Thursday, May 8, 2003, at home, surrounded by her family, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Nativity BVM Cemetery, Menominee, Ill. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Miller Funeral Home, East Dubuque, Ill., where there will be a parish scripture service at 4:30 p.m.

She was born on April 25, 1946, in Dubuque, daughter of Lester and Miranda (McKernan) Kammerude.

She was a homemaker and dearly loved by her family.

Surviving are four children, John (Krista) O'Brien, of Littleton, Colo., Christine (Bill) Ortiz, of Nathrop, Colo., Cathie Fischer (Jesse Leib), and Steve Seippel, both of Dubuque; nine grandchildren, Samantha Seippel, Nick and Brandon Fischer, Joshua and Kelsey O'Brien, Stephanie and Tanner Klein, Erin Ortiz and Haley Seippel; four brothers, Robert (Nell) Kammerude and Michael Kammerude, both of Dubuque, Tony (Pat) Kammerude, of Hazel Green, Wis., and Dave (Peg) Kammerude, of Galena, Ill.; five sisters, Darlene (Leroy) Magby, of Platteville, Wis., Gertie (Dick) Leslein, of Hazel Green, Teresa (Melvin) Donar, of Cuba City, Wis., Kathy (Jim) Kaiser, of Bettendorf, Iowa, and Joan Kammerude, of Phoenix, Ariz.; a sister-in-law, Mary Kammerude, of Hazel Green; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Kenneth and Donald "Joe" Kammerude; and a sister-in-law, Velma Kammerude.

In lieu of flowers, a Patricia Ann Williams Memorial Fund has been established.
